Project HighlightPotential AcquisitionWhen a leading cell phone software developer decided to explore the option of acquiring a smaller, privately held, rival company, they turned to Sedulo consultants for insight and direction. The client had heard rumors that the target company was experiencing serious financial difficulties, if this were true the client felt the target might be willing to sell. Through an in-depth competitive intelligence survey, Sedulo consultants learned that the rival company was indeed struggling financially and had in fact lost a major retail client.
